This campground offers 16 small campsites (trailers less than 16 feet), picnic tables, toilets, fire grates, potable water and trash cans.
Popular recreational activities in the area include day hiking at Green Mountain Falls and Encampment River, fishing the Encampment and North Fork Encampment rivers, wildlife watching and visiting the Continental Divide. Wildlife is common, so plan to keep a clean camp.
From Encampment, take Wyoming Highway 70 west approximately 5 miles to Forest Road 550 (Hog Park Reservoir). Turn left onto Forest Road 550 and turn right 0.1 mile, the campground entrance is 0.2 miles.
