Alvarado Campground is a 50-site campground in Great Sand Dunes National Park. It accommodates equestrian sites, RVs, tents, and trailers, with sites for RVs up to 45 ft. It is a no-hookup campground. Around 24 sites are shaded. Pets are welcome at some sites and most sites have a fire pit. Maximum party size is 10. Like most popular Recreation.gov campgrounds, Alvarado Campground books up months ahead, but cancellations open regularly.
